Welcome to the website of the Willy’s Money Tree Fund.
The Fund is a charitable organization created in memory and in honor of Cecil William (“Willy”) Phillips. Willy was a talented singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer, producer and bandleader, b. January 13, 1970 – d. November 10, 2009.
The Fund is located in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. Its purpose is to provide scholarships for music students in Okanagan Skaha School District 67. Governing individuals are: Howard Redekopp (president and director), Anthony Bischoff (vice-president), Christa Phillips (treasurer and director) and Jennifer Vincent (secretary and director).
Income of the fund underwrites scholarships and bursaries to aid in the education and training of talented music students.
